Yoav received his B.Sc. (Magna Cum laude) in Biochemistry and Food Science from the Hebrew University in 2020. Prior to joining the Segal Lab, he worked in the group of Dr. Roni Dahan (at the Weizmann Institute of Science) on genotyping transgenic mice. He joined our group on October 2020 and his research is focused on development of biosensors for environmental diagnostics. He currently develops a biosensor for point-of-care detection of heavy metals in water.
