Gali Ron

M.Sc. student
email:  galiron@campus.technion.ac.il
Address:  Stein building, room 422
Gali is an M.Sc. student studying bacterial adhesion on micro-patterned silicon surfaces. Her research explores how surface topography, wettability, charge, and biochemical functionality influence the early stages of bacterial attachment under flow. By combining engineered silicon surfaces, lectin-based recognition, and real-time label-free optical monitoring using PRISM, Gali’s work aims to create a platform for studying bacteria–surface interactions and, in the future, enabling on-chip bacterial separation and analysis. She completed her B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering at the Technion in 2023. Continue Reading Gali Ron
