Liran received his B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in 2017. He joined the Segal lab in September 2014 for an undergraduate project, focused on the development of porous silicon nanostructures as carriers for controlled delivery of nerve growth factor. Liran is working on the development of porous silicon arrays as an optical biosensor for antibiotic susceptibility testing.
